STYLED SHOOT | NEWSTEAD STUDIOS
In August, we were invited to take part in a styled shoot at Newstead Studios, a location renowned for its chic, minimalist interiors and abundant natural light which provided the perfect canvas to showcase bridal fashion. The creative force behind this shoot was Lizzie, who not only conceptualised the vision but also captured the magic through her lens. Joining the team on location was Bridal Stylist Jess C, ensuring that our TVC gowns—Elimbah, Everly, and Edna—looked nothing short of extraordinary.
Lovebirds Ainsley and Marcel took centre stage to embody Lizzie’s romantic narrative. With no detail overlooked, the scene was bursting with contemporary flair. Almost as if it had been whisked straight from Alice's garden party, the reception table featured white florals in chic glass vases and casually draped tablecloths, setting the tone for a quaint afternoon affair. The pièce de résistance? A cake adorned with black ribboned bows—an Instagram-worthy statement piece we're seeing everywhere right now. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, a pop of vibrancy with oranges beneath the champagne tower for the after-party look added a playful twist. And white champagne coupes? How could this setting get any better.
Look #1: Elimbah by Elysian Bridal
First in the spotlight was Elimbah, a gown that effortlessly emanates glamour. Her standout feature is the exquisite drapery that gracefully flows across the bodice and skirt, while exposed boning elegantly contours the waist. The silhouette is adorned with delicate beading, adding a layer of depth and a hint of sparkle, capturing the light in the most enchanting way. To complete this look, Elimbah was paired with a chic up-do, perfectly framing the decolletage and finished with our Lucca veil, crafted from soft glimmering tulle. Proving to be a match made in heaven, its subtle shimmer harmonising beautifully with the gown’s sparkling beads. The bouquet, a stunning mix of creamy florals and lush greenery, perfectly complemented the earthy tones of the setting. Lizzie captured some of the sweetest candid moments with these two sweethearts.
Look #2: Everly by Elysian Bridal
Next up was Everly, a gown that exudes not only sophistication but the quintessential bridal silhouette. Crafted from luminous satin Mikado, Everly features a strapless design with refined neckline peaks and folded drapery that cascades from the bodice down the leg, revealing a bold split. Beyond her stunning appearance, Everly is a bride’s dream with both style and practicality—she even has pockets! She was captured as sunlight poured through the windows, illuminating the gown’s luxurious fabric and highlighting her impeccable design. Paired with a white floral bouquet and positioned beside a champagne tower, the scene was infused with celebratory air. Here, Ainsley and Marcel popped a bottle of bubbles to fill the champagne tower, and the setting in which Lizzie captured some of the most stunning photos of Everly’s silhouette standing alone.
Look #3: Edna Mini by Trish Peng
Edna was chosen for the reception or after-party look, encapsulating a lively, party-ready aesthetic with her beaded appliqué and lace details. This mini gown is a playful fusion of elegance and fun, featuring a bodysuit foundation and a structured tulip skirt. The sleeves are adorned with tulle bows, adding a whimsical touch that ties in beautifully with decor elements. Edna was captured beside a tower of white champagne coupes, with a tub of vibrant oranges nestled beneath (mimosa-inspired!) adding a splash of colour to the scene.
We were treated to behind-the-scenes images of the team working their magic, including Jess carefully ensuring that each dress was perfectly clipped and looking its best.
Nude heels are an underrated gem in bridal fashion, and when done right—wow, do they deliver. Not only do they offer a chic, versatile alternative to traditional white, but many brides already own a pair of comfortable nude heels, eliminating the need to break in a new pair on their big day. Your shoes don’t have to be white just because you’re the bride; nude tones work effortlessly too.
This styled shoot offered a fantastic opportunity to see Elimbah, Everly, and Edna come to life, beautifully paired with modern touches designed to inspire brides and grooms-to-be. Newstead Studios served as the perfect blank canvas, helping brides envision how these elements could seamlessly translate into their own venues.
